Being heard again

Perhaps one of the first herbal remedies I found was for laryngitis. When I was in my early 20’s, I would lose my voice every winter. I could hardly make any sound and was quite amusing to my friends when I laughed. I sounded like a barking seal; it was so bizarre.

The remedy for bringing back your voice is horseradish. It’s quite simple; add a teaspoon of grated horseradish to a cup of tea (any tea will do), then add some honey to mask the taste of the horseradish. Simply sip it all day and your voice will return within 24 hours, like magic. I think this little remedy got me hooked on healing with food and herbs.

What was your first remedy? Please share and I will continue to share.

    • Did you use it internally or externally? I know drinking Dandelion infusion is also good for acne.
