I always seem to have an excuse, \u201cit may rain or snow in a day or two, or it\u2019s muddy out. I don\u2019t have time to let it dry \u2013 why bother.\u201d However, springtime brings guests to our home and prompts me to clean areas that I have ignored over the winter, such as the floors and cobweb removal.<\/p>\n<p>The funny thing is that once I start, like most things in life, it takes very little time and energy to accomplish and I love the way the floors look once they\u2019ve been mopped.<\/p>\n<p><b>I have a very simple recipe for non-wood floors:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 cups white vinegar<\/p>\n<p>2 gallons hot water<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drbronner.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Bronner\u2019s <\/a>Magic Pure Castile liquid soap<\/p>\n<p>Mix and mop \u2013 simple.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.drbronner.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Bronner\u2019s<\/a> offers a variety essential oils infused liquid soaps to choose from, I prefer peppermint liquid soap.\u00a0 For wood floors, I have yet to find a better product than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colgate.com\/murphy-oil-soap\/home\" target=\"_blank\">Murphy\u2019s oil soap.<\/a> Now that the floors are done, I guess I need to tackle the cobwebs.
